Prep Cycling to Go City to Shore
For the first time, the Prep Cycling Club will be participating officially in the "Bike MS: City to Shore Ride" on September 27 and 28. The annual event, which raises money for multiple sclerosis research, is ranked by Bicycling Magazine as one of the best cycling experiences in the Delaware Valley. The Prep team will ride to honor of any member of the entire Prep community affected by multiple sclerosis.
There are several courses to choose from depending on ability and cycling experience. Options range from a one-day 25-mile route, to a two-day 175-mile route which takes riders from Cherry Hill to Ocean City on Saturday, then back to Cherry Hill on Sunday. The ride is fully supported with frequent rest stops, bountiful food tents, and expert bike mechanics. The route is scenic, and the terrain flat and easy.
Anyone in the Prep community with a bike is invited to join the Prep team for the ride. If instrerested please register online below. Pledges for our team are appreciated, and can be made at that same web page. Please contact Andrew Whelan at awhelan@sjprep.org with any questions.
